THE FUTURE OF SHAKE SHACK

This summer, I will experience the single greatest benefit of working in the Upper Eastside. Shake Shack will finally open up its new location just three blocks from my office. Besides having the amazing Shack Stack - a heavenly cheeseburger with a fried portabello mushroom - Shake Shack also rocks because they're green. They use wind-power credits from carbonfund.org instead of electricity. They also have composting on site and they recycle their used cooking oil into biodiesel fuel in partnership with The Doe Fund's Resource Recovery program. More reasons to eat a burger.
