Filmmaker/photographer Andrea Star Reese drew recent attention to the problem of homelessness in New York City through a pretty awesome photo series. The series is drawn from interactions with pockets of homeless people living in West Harlem. In a Q&A posted on "Lens", the New York Times photojournalism blog, Reese stated that her project isn't about an issue. It's about people. You definitely get that sense looking at her photos.
